“The blending of the calming effect of Yoga and the power of nutrition to nurture and support you when under stress”
We are bringing together a Yoga and Nutrition professional to offer a workshop designed to de-stress and give you hints and tips on managing stress through diet and lifestyle. Consisting of a 1 hour talk on managing stress through good nutrition, including stress busting food and drink to taste followed by a 1.5 hour Hatha Yoga session.
Melissa Smith is a Registered Nutritional Therapist based in Alton. Her specialist areas of interest are gut health and sports nutrition.
Sarah Spear is a qualified Yoga teacher, having taken a 200hr Teach training in Vinyasa Yoga with Jason Crandell, focusing on precision, power and mindfulness. She teaches Red Hot and Hot Flow classes at Red Hot Yoga in Guildford and Hatha Yoga at Results Gym in Alton. She will be undertaking her Yin teacher training in October 2015.
