Being the middle of the summer holidays I thought it would be good to bring together a few ideas for cooking with the kids that are quick, easy, fun and healthy to make. Perfect for a not so sunny day or just to do something a bit different and encourage your children to experiment with healthy ingredients and foods they may not ordinarily eat!
Try different types of veggies - when they are being chosen they are more likely to be eaten!
A healthy sweet treat for the whole family, pop them in the freezer if there are any left! This would work well with different types of nut or seed butter. If you use peanut butter use natural peanut butter with no added extras.
Use your favourite bases (gluten free if you're following a gluten free diet) and offer a variety of different veggies for the topping (try out some different kinds that you haven't used before). Everyone can have their own pizza, with their choice of veggies.
